The proper mindset is imperative for success. However, many times we don’t consider it a factor until we learn how to use it to our advantage. You see up until this point you have most likely been on autopilot just allowing your mind to wander in the universe without commanding it to adhere to what you want to attract. If this is you that is completely okay because I will layout the essential mindset changes you need to make to be a successful woman.
Managing Yourself Relies on a Reflective Mindset.
We live in a world based on connectivity. We are attached to our phones, or our eyes are glued to our computer screens. A reflective mindset is the exact opposite of that. You see we were not created to do so many things at once that we lose sight of the present moment. Unfortunately, we have been conditioned to be distracted. We are uncomfortable with silence, and we do everything in our power to keep our minds from being still. You know why? because that is where the real you lies. That is where your soul meets your mind. Here is where your soul expresses to you what you really should be doing. The exact method to live fully in your purpose.
Instead of fearing this we really should embrace it if we want true success. It is imperative to have a vision and a deeply compelling reason why. Knowing this allows us to make the choices that will inevitably lead to our success. The only way to truly get in tune with ourselves is to utilize the process of a reflective mindset.
This mindset shift is very similar to mindfulness and self-awareness. It is being in tune with our intuitions, and our present state. It is also a way to identify our triggers and pinpoint times where we may need to adjust our thinking in order to get the desired result.
Reflection allows us to get to know ourselves better, and hone in on exactly what we want to achieve and feel in this life. It also sheds light on the things we say to ourselves daily that have a major impact on our self-esteem, and what we can achieve in correlation to our belief system. It is a daily learning experience that should not be neglected.

Changing Your Mindset Can Change Your Life.
If you are contemplating the truth to this statement I can tell you without a doubt that it is 100% TRUE. You see everything you see in your mind you can hold in your hand. We are the ship and our mind is the rutter. It is always steering us the way in which we direct it. Yes, you heard me right in which way WE direct it.
You see the events in your life don’t just happen by accident. Successful people don’t just stumble upon success accidentally. It is a combination of our effort VS what we feed our minds on a daily basis. As well as what we decide to believe.
Your mind is always giving back to you a response to the seeds you are planting within it. Do you want a successful life? You must plant seeds of success, and take off any limitations of you achieving it. You must set your mind to it, and be certain that it is on its way. This is a huge part of the essential mindset changes you must make.
I was recently looking at a few comments from a few creators I am in a FB group with and something stood out to me so loud and clear. The discussion was about dealing with adversity, and the challenges in being successful in business.
After a few comments, I noticed one comment that basically said that person was dealing with the same thing too. She then stated that if she didn’t see a change within two years she would quit.
Now what do you think this does for the mind?
You have made a statement that your mind is now aware of therefore it doesn’t take you seriously about your goals. This statement is also self-defeating and basically takes you out of the game before you even start. It also puts limitations on what you can achieve which is a NO!
What if I told you everything you desire would be yours if you worked your butt off for ten years..would it be worth it? If not you need to reassess your WHY.
If you are currently in the trenches working hard to achieve success here is the attitude and mindset you must adopt.
“My WHY is powerful and I will not stop until I achieve the success I desire.”
Do you see how empowering that is? In this one statement, you take your power BACK. Instead, of leaving your destiny up to the probability of chance and placing a time limit on it. You command it to happen which gives you all of the power. Once you do this the Universe will move those obstacles out of your way to make it happen for you.
I think Tony Robbins said it best ” You always get your must.” & “If you want to take the island you gotta burn the boat.”
This means having a deep desire to make something happen no matter what the cost. Once you decide it is what you want there is no turning back.
” Do not retreat!”
Managing Change Calls For an Action Mind-Set.
After you have achieved the crucial step of mastering your mind you will then want to combine that with an action mindset.
No substantial change is possible without action. You can sit all day long and envision your dreams but without massive action, long-term success will be just that a dream.
In order to see the fruits of your labor, and actually see your destiny come to fruition you must take massive action on a daily basis. Before we dive into the steps you can take to successfully take action let’s talk about what an action mindset is.
Once I learned in-depth about this mindset shift I was enamored with it. An action mindset really bridges the gap between our dreams and reality. If you can get this one right girl you are going to have an absolutely amazing future!
An action mindset is the determination to move from thinking about something to actually doing the necessary steps to make it real. It is the ability to persist even when those inevitable challenges come up. It is using small daily goals to your advantage. If you can conquer the day than you can conquer the week, month, year, and so on.
To think of it literally a positive mindset puts you behind the wheel and gets you ready. An action mindset starts the car and puts the foot to the pedal so you are moving forward.
And you gotta be moving in order to see the success you want. Unfortunately, there is no way around it.
Shifting Into the Inspired Action Mindset.
Okay so know that we know what an action mindset is, how do we use it to our advantage? If an action mindset is all you need to bridge the gap between your present circumstances and success why don’t more people do it? These both are very valid questions, and ones worth being discussed further.
First things first, why do some folks take heed and some folks think of an action mindset as a bunch of bologna? I can sum it up in one word my darling…
There is a thought process in this world that if you don’t feel like doing something it’s okay not to do it. You can just put it off until you actually feel like doing it which turns into NEVER!
Here is the truth. You are never going to feel like doing something all the time this is why you must be disciplined. Stop allowing your emotions to run the show. It’s a mindset thing…remember?
It is just like working out. Your body wants to give up before your mind ever actually does. You must recognize that, and nip it in the bud when it arises. You must ask yourself two questions when your emotions tell you not to do something.
Am I going off of the correct mindset? OR Am I allowing my emotions to take control?
Emotions are fleeting, and never something to be relied upon. Sometimes we cry one minute and are happy the next. You never want to base your decisions on wishy-washy feelings. You must master the art of self-control and understand what is going to move the needle forward for you.
So let’s dive into the methods that can get you in the action mindset groove.
This is the number one step to get you in action mode. Will Smith had a great interview talking about this crucial step. In a nutshell, he said that you must “decide” to change. You wake up one day and make a decision to do the things that will change your life.
Once you are firm in your decision you will find a way to fight through all of the adversity that will keep you from arriving at your desired goal.
” Today I decide that I am going to do whatever is required to fulfill my dreams.“
It’s go time!
Monitor Your Self-Talk.
You heard it right. Think about what you think about. We are constantly talking to ourselves in our heads. We are either feeding ourselves empowering thoughts or ones that do not serve us.
Now according to the National Science Foundation on average, we think anywhere between 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. That is BONKERS! With this crazy figure in mind, it is imperative that we take account of what our mind is telling us.
Now in no way do I mean montior every single thought that goes through your mind. You would go crazy just by doing this. The good news is there is an easy way to retrain your mind to think good things. There are also signals that show you when you are thinking of the bad things.
In one of my favorite books The Secret they go into detail on this but I will give you a short run down.
One of the easiest ways to change your mindset is through the use of affirmations. I myself use them daily and they truly are life-changing. Although, there are some proper ways to use an affirmation.
- They must be in the present tense.
- It needs to be what you actually want to happen.
- In order to have a firm belief, you must say them repeatedly daily.
- You must visualize and feel the emotion of having what you want.
- You must believe it is already done.
- Be thankful that it is already yours.
Here is an example of one.
” I am a multi-millionaire” OR “I am so glad I am at my ideal weight.”
You see? You are speaking as if it is done!
So we talked about how to re-program let’s talk about how to know when we are on the right path. Guess what this word is going to sound very familiar.
We know if we are thinking about the right things by how we feel. So no need to sift through every single thought. If we feel good we are thinking good thoughts. See how the mindset impacts everything?
So if you are feeling good keep thinking about the things that make you feel good, and watch your life change!
Visualize Your Desired Outcome.
You must know what you want girl! I mean really it’s like going forward in a car with no specific destination in mind. Sure that may be a spontaneous road trip but eventually, you need to stop at a specific hotel for some rest!
When you are on the battleground fighting for what you want you must have a purpose behind it. If not what the use of fighting for it anyway? So take some time and get in tune with what it is your truly want until you find the exact motivation behind it. I have created a FREE resource to help you.
Focus On the Desired Outcomes.
Focus is a powerful thing, and when you focus on the desired outcomes your brain automatically goes into overdrive.
Our brain is so powerful! When you focus on intent your brain automatically looks for ways to attract what you are focusing on. It is fascinating!
So when you are striving for your goals make sure you keep the desired outcome at the forefront of your mind. Keep it fresh and always top of mind so that your mind is always looking for ways to help you.

No hesitation! Start as soon as you can. When you hesitate two things happen.
We have no time for either in our quest to be an action machine. You can sit all day and think of reasons why you shouldn’t be doing something but the truth is you will not have time to do this if you are in action mode.
As soon as you start be on the lookout for failures as the will inevitably show up and are apart of the process. Fail forward, and be excited about failures because they are learning lessons and the only way in which you get closer to success.

Combine Energy With Action.
Have you ever been working on something tough and taken a break? Maybe during your break, you poped in your favorite song, and immediately you were put into a great mood.
The great mood is a direct correlation to your energy or vibration. You see energy is magnificent it is so powerful it can introduce someone before they even enter a room, and energy is all around us.
Now you may not always be able to blast your tunes while your in the office or at church but there are also some other ways to feel energized.
- Get enough rest
- Take a multivitamin
- A healthy diet
The list can go on and on, but I promise if you add these tactics into your daily routine you will the newest energizer bunny.
