Our goal should be to live life to the fullest every day! You see the truth is our time here is very limited and at the end of our days it is imperative that we do all the things we wanted to do while on this earth.
It is not that we don’t have the ability to do these things but it is the limitations we set in our mind that make us believe they cannot be done this keeps us in bondage.
So today throw caution to the wind.. eat the cupcake, jump in the lake, whatever you need to do to free yourself and live your life to the fullest.
In my mission to assist you on your journey here are 41 ways to live your life to the fullest and with no regrets.
1.) Do what you need to do to be happy, and let others do the same. Something making you unhappy? stop doing it. Something making someone else happy? Let them do it. When we all need to let each other be who they are it creates harmony and lasting relationships.
2.) Set goals TODAY!
I know it’s like a broken record that we hear all the time. But really goal setting gives you something to strive for something to accomplish. When you accomplish whatever it is you have set out to do it improves your self-esteem and gets you excited to set even more goals. This is very helpful in your journey to living life to the fullest.
3.) Fill your mind with positivity.
What you put on the inside shows up on the outside. If you want to be a ray of sunshine you must fill your mind with good things. Trust me there are enough bad things to put in your head. Why not try to fill your mind with positivity, and enjoy the benefits a great attitude on a daily basis. If you want great sources of positive things to fill your mind with, read our articles on mindfulness.
4.) Say “Yes.”
Is there a dream you have in your heart? Is there something you have wanted to do forever but don’t have the courage? Is there someone you would like to date but always say “next time?” Well, it is time to say “YES” to all the of the things you have been wanting to do but haven’t. All of the things you have been scared to do. Live life with “YES” in mind.
5.) Say “No.”
Are there things keeping you from achieving? Do you have some bad habits you need to break? Do your dreams require some “sacrifice?” then it’s okay to also so “No” and guess what…not feel bad about it.
6.) Embrace failure.
Yes, it can be painful to fail, but once you realize it is inevitable in life you will understand that it is just apart of the process and nothing to fear. If you are NOT failing you are not going after things in life so embrace failure, look at it as an opportunity in every situation.
7.) Step out of your comfort zone NOW.
Want to know a little secret? There is no such thing as security. Everything in life is a risk, so why not take risks that have rewards you’ll enjoy in life?
8.) Avoid having a plan “B”
When you are focused on having a plan “B” it distracts you from focusing on plan “A.” Listen, there is nothing wrong with having something to “fall back on” but if you work with intention, persistence, and perseverance there is nothing you can’t do. So in essence there is no need for a backup plan. Choose a path and put all of your energy into one thing and see where it takes you.
10.) Surround yourself with people that will take you higher.
Live life surrounded by others with great ambition, goals, dreams, aspirations, and you will quickly find yourself trailing right behind them. You are a combination of the five people you spend the most time with so use your time wisely.
11.) Stop worrying.
The more we worry the more the things we want elude us. Worry is also detrimental to our health and makes us think about things that most of the time will never happen. Stop thinking about what could go wrong, and start thinking about what could go right!
12.) Keep Going.
Life rewards the one who continues to fail and does not give up! It’s a process of weeding out the weak, it’s a right of passage, and it’s something we all go through to achieve in life. Sure, others may have it easier but this is not about them…it’s about YOU. So no matter what keep going. Show up every day and do your best in all things finishing produces confidence.
13.) Ask for what you want.
If you want specific things in life you must ask for them. Tell the universe exactly what it is that you want and watch the doors open up to assist you.
14.) Embrace the present.
Sometimes we are so worried about tomorrow, or next weekend’s plans that we forget about the beauty of today. Each day is a gift embrace it, be thankful for seeing another day.
15.) Practice gratitude.
there is always something to be grateful for. No matter what we are going through in life take a look in the mirror. If you are blessed to have eyes to see, ears to hear, hands to work you are blessed.
16.) Trust Your Gut.
Your soul knows exactly what is best. Trust it…it never lies.
18.) Control your mindset.
We think thoughts all day that aren’t true or are there to stop us from achieving our destiny. You must practice self-control. Allow only the thoughts that are beneficial to you to enter your mind. Now while there is no way to monitor every single thought just be mindful of the ones you focus on.
19.) Acknowledge yourself as the only one in control of your destiny.
The Calvary is not coming to save you. Unfortunately, this life is 100% up to you. Live life with the mindset that everything you do today is creating your future. you are powerful.
20.) Practice self-care.
You can’t pour from an empty cup. You need time (even if it’s just a small amount) each day to take care of yourself. take a hot shower or a bubble bath. Give yourself a mental break from the kids. Whatever you need to keep your sanity. it is important for your health and well being. If you need, I’m happy to get you other resources on staying healthy and feeling good.
21.) Don’t worry about the ones who are not rooting for you.
You must block out all haters and only focus on those who want to see you win. The truth is there will always be people who will criticize what you do for no reason. When you are trying to live life to the fullest you have no time to worry about their opinions. Doing that takes time away from the ones who love you.
If you haven’t used it in a year get rid of it. More stuff= more stuff to worry about.
23.) Pick your battles.
I think Warren Buffet said it best. ” You will continue to lose if you have an emotional reaction to everything someone says.” Sometimes you will have to take things with a grain of salt and chose which battles you want to enter. This will make things so much easier when you don’t jump every time someone has something to say negative.
24.) Make the time.
We make time for the things that are important to us. You always have enough time if you make time for things you consider a priority.
25.) Face fear head-on.
The more you think of the fear the bigger the giant it becomes. There is nothing to fear but fear itself and inactivity is a breeding ground for fear. In order to live life to the fullest, we must take fear by the collar and show it whos boss. Fear is really just something we make up anyway. The only power fear has is the power we give it.
26.) Take risks.
You know that feeling you get when you are about to embark into the unknown? When your body is saying whoa caution Lil lady! Yep, that is the best time to go for it! Listen achievement is uncomfortable so get comfortable being uncomfortable. Take risks so that you can see what is on the other side of courage. If you want to learn exactly what financial risks to take, here some resources for learning about money.
27.) Spend time with your loved ones.
Family is so important, and sometimes we don’t realize what we have until it’s gone so cherish the moments you can spend with those you love because those moments won’t last forever.
Laughter is the best medicine, and those who are laughing and smiling all the time live a life where everything isn’t always taken so seriously. So laugh! Go see a comedy movie or heck go see a stand-up comedian. Tell stupid jokes, make silly faces, whatever you need to do to laugh!
29.) No more complaining.
The truth is life is not fair, it never has been, and never will be. Complaining zaps all of your good energy and replaces it with negative ungrateful energy. No more complaining, you can do it all day, and I promise it won’t get you anywhere.
30.) Do not worry about the opinions of others.
How many people do you think have a career or a spouse or a car based on what someone else suggested? I am sure a ton, and if you are one of them it’s okay! Now, I’m not telling you to go back to school or ditch your spouse but what I am saying is going forward in life to make sure you are doing things because you want to do them not because someone has influenced you to do so.

31.) Develop yourself.
Here is the tough pill to swallow. Most of us give 40+ hours a week to an employer but don’t give any hours a week to ourselves. Look, you are all YOU got. Jobs come and go, careers can begin in end but it’s the lessons you teach yourself that will last a lifetime. It’s never too late to learn a new skill or adapt to a new mindset, but you must give yourself the hours to do it.
32.) Pray for others.
We never know what burdens each other carries so it is important to pray for others. Even if they are not nice or maybe having a terrible day and taking it out on you we all are dealing with some sort of internal struggle. Life is tough, and when you pray for others instead of barking at them it will truly put you at peace and of course help them in the long run. If you need help exploring your spirituality, see our spiritual resources.
33.) Stop playing the comparison game.
I know few things less freeing than being happy for what others have but being grateful for what you have and who you are. If you see the blessings of others as something that could also happen for you than your comparison will turn into encouragement, and inspire you to reach higher.
34.) Don’t apologize for being you!
Because those that mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind.
35.) Don’t hold grudges.
Life is too short, and you never know what tomorrow holds so say your sorry and whether someone accepts your apology or not free yourself from the burden of guilt.
36.) Be grateful for closed doors.
In my experience, closed doors are almost always redirection to something better or are keeping you from harm. It may not seem like it initially but eventually, you will see the benefit of any door that slams shut on you.
37.) Have patience.
There is a reason why this one is a virtue. For many of us, this is an entire challenge in itself. But nothing that is great comes quick and easy…easy come easy go. You must embrace the patience needed for good things to happen. It will be worth the wait.
38.) Be kind but never weak.
Treat people with respect but don’t let anyone walk all over you. Stand up for yourself and rise to the occasions it’s okay to check someone every now and then. Boundaries create respect and all strong relationships are built on that.
39.) Do YOU.
When you were born you will put on this earth with a special purpose. You were put on this earth with a mission that only you could fulfill. Don’t apologize, do what you have to do for you and what you were put on this earth to do. This is the key to true happiness and the right way to live life.
40.) Always be a student.
Be a life long learner of things. Always try to learn something new no matter what your age.
41.) Remember that life is short and you only get one.
Here today gone tomorrow. Life is too short for regrets. Go for it!
So, where’s the first place you will start from this list?

So Many Blessings,
